On Wednesday, April 7th at 5:30 at Dick’s Last Resort Chicago Firefighters vs Chicago Police in a competitive eating challenge. Chicken Wings!

All right Chicago sports enthusiasts, heres a wacky event between the Chicago Police Department and the Chicago Fire Department; Wing Madness to Benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

April 7th at Dick’s Last Resort at 315 N. Dearborn firefighters vs police in a wing eating challenge that could hurt even the bravest competitive eaters.  The event will have 9 firemen vs 9 cops.  The winner from each team will then face off, head to head in a wing showdown.

This is going to be great.

The celebrity judges will include Secretary of State Jesse White, Alderman Ed Burke, Janet Wilmoth of Fire Chief Magazine (can you say, ringer?), and Skyline columnist Felicia Dechter.

Erich "Mancow" Muller

The event will be hosted by Mancow (he’s like Madonna) Muller and Dr. Ian Smith of Celebrity Fit Club.

Live music by No Direction.

Admission is $25 and this includes food and soft drinks.  100% of the proceeds benefit Make-a-Wish Foundation.  This is going to be a fun time, and I think the Fire Department is up to the challenge.  Firefighters are fully prepared to defeat the cops in the competitive wing eating battle for bragging rights, in the City of Big Shoulders.
