Aly Bockler from WCIU Chicago at Wing Madness

Aly Bockler of You & Me This Morning, from Chicago’s WCIU was on hand as the Chicago Police Department battled the Chicago Fire Department in a wing eating contest for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Wing Madness was a wonderful event that reportedly made around $12K for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the generosity of a lot of wonderful corporate sponsors.  Every dime raised went to Make-A-Wish, a fantastic charity.

It was held at Dick’s Last Resort Chicago, and the chicken wings were big, and delicious.  This is a report from Aly Bockler, from Aly On The Block, You & Me in the Morning. Fabianski of Engine 56 was as gracious in victory, as he was dominant at the wing eating bucket.

Mancow favored the police, probably because he never thinks he’ll NEED a fireman (not that it is a bad strategy to hedge).  Aly on the other hand, definitely preferred us.  Who can blame her?
