The team has a pile up, luckily it looks like they only needed beer and inner tubes to get back on track and 1 day closer to Chicago.

Chicago Firefighters and firefighter family members are tough, and this can be witnessed in these pictures of a small pile up, and a banged up Jason Soo.

Don't panic, no one was seriously injured, just trying to get some sympathy.
Rumors are that the entire team was drafting off of Phil Walsh. Phil slammed on the brake when he saw a beer truck, and chaos ensued. This is only a rumor, and unconfirmed.
What has been confirmed is that the team is closer to Chicago, and will be back on Saturday, in time for Blackhawk Stanley Cup Hockey when the Stanley Cup Finals begin here in Chicago against the Philadelphia Flyers. Any Philly Firemen that feel like losing t-shirts can contact us for a friendly wager.
The team will be at the Quinn Fire Academy on DeKoven Saturday, May 29th, around 2pm. Let’s meet our guys with band-aids and beer, and a whole lot of thank you’s.
The team has had a few crashes, a lot of aches and pains, and have rode a heckuva a lot of miles. All for pediatric cancer, in memory and honor of Hank Schueler, a victim of leukemia. Thank you Ignite the Spirit and charity bike ride volunteers.
