Bob is actually battling his tires. 7 flats, and he isn’t home yet.
This picture says it all, Bob Rupprecht has been getting a lot of flat tires. We normally would try and find the real reason he is getting so many flats, like a suspicious blogger may think he was getting them on purpose for a break. This is definately not the case with Bob.

Bob has been beaten down by the flat tires.
Bob is a very physically fit and experienced rider, he is fit enough to complete this ride without the unnecessary flat tire breaks. Bob can practically compete in the Tour de France, if he decided to.
Bob may be pushing himself hard, riding hard, and wearing out already well worn tires. He also may have bad eyes, and is unable to see the thumbtacks Pat Reardon is planting in front of him in an effort to sabotage him each day.
The team is a little competitive. Don’t they say “if you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying.” I think Pat is trying to be first every day.
Remember to set aside May 29th, Saturday afternoon. The team will be back, at the Quinn Fire Academy around 2PM. Let’s welcome back Pat, Bob, Richie and everyone else. Thanks for the hard work Bob! See you Saturday.
