It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of active member Captain Alan Jurasz of CFD Engine 110.  Captain Jurasz passed away suddenly.  Alan Jurasz served the citizens and visitors of Chicago as a EMT, Firefighter and Fire Officer for over thirty years.  Please keep the Jurasz family in your prayers.

City of Chicago 1st Deputy Fire Commissioner Robert Hoff encourages all members of the Fire Department to join the CFD tomorrow at the visitation and service to pay our respects.
