Essay Contest Deadline extended to December 31st, 2011. Submit your essay today!

2011 will mark the 5th year the Nick Grogan/Ignite the Spirit $5,000.00 scholarship is being offered.  It is awarded to one student who will be attending a tuition based high school for the 2011-2012 school year. The award is based on completion of an application and submitting an essay.

The 2011 essay topic is: It’s Been Ten Years Since 9/11.  How has our world changed for better or worse?

Guidelines to read:

All essays are to be no less than one, no more than three pages, typed, double-spaced, one-inch margins.  Grammar and spelling will count so please spell check before submission.  The file to upload should be named as follows:  lastnamefirstinitial2011ignitescholarship – for example if your last name is Joe Smith, your file for submission should read SmithJ2011ignitescholarship.  The essay contest has been extended to midnight December 31st, 2011.  No applications or essays will be accepted after midnight December 31st, 2011.  Good luck to everyone!
