About two months ago, I read about “Ignite the Spirit’s Bike to Fight” and immediately wanted to participate. I enjoy bike riding, though I had not been doing it in some time. I was drawn to the mission and commitment of the foundation to childhood cancers.

The hardest part about the ride won’t be the aches and pains but being away from my wife and two daughters.

This is a great cause and chance to help fight pediatric cancer. Families are fighting diseases like cancer while some of us take our health for granted.

When I heard the Ignite the Spirit firemen’s charity organization was organizing this ride I was all for it. What a great cause and challenge!

This fundraiser and charity bike ride is a chance for all of us to say “I can help make a difference for someone else.”
