With profound sadness is news received of the senseless murder of Chicago Police Officer Michael Bailey. Officer Bailey was 62 years old, a decorated 20-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department, and most recently assigned to the Central (1st) District. He was returning home after his tour of duty when he was shot ...on the 7400 block of S. Evans at approximately 6 a.m. Thoughts and prayers are with his family at this terrible time, and the men and women of the Chicago Police Department that served alongside him.
