A Little Q&A with the Hero
What are some of your nick names?
I’m the Teeej, so that’s what you call me. You know, that or, uh, her Teeejness, or Teeejer, or El Teejerino if you’re not into the whole brevity thing.
Do you put ketchup on your hotdog?
I wouldn’t shame my family like that.
Mezcal Margarita and Coffee...with half and half. I can’t drink it without creamer, it’s just not possible.
Most embarrassing thing about you?
I’ve been known to put on a few Elton John concerts when I indulge in to many of those mezcal margaritas.
Favorite part of your job?
Being relieved on time. All kidding aside, it’s amazing to think people are still around for their families and living life because of something you did.
Thin crust or deep dish?
Both. Even when I’m eating pizza...I’m still thinking about eating pizza.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Hang out with my daughter Kylie, plant flowers, bartend, read books and eating pizza.
Cubs or Sox?
I prefer hockey. Though if I had to choose, I’d go with the Sox. I’ve lived in Wrigleyville...I see how Cubs fans park.
Who do you look up to?
My parents. Until I was a parent myself, I didn’t realize the sacrifices and things you would do for your child.
What have you been doing to keep busy during COVID?
Work, learning common core math with my daughter. For example if you get 2 hours of sleep (x) + 1 Bang energy drink (y) and 3 cups of coffee you get = (z) Mommy vacuuming the garage.
Cats or dogs?
Dogs, because they actually like you.
Favorite place to vacation?
Anywhere I can be with friends and not set an alarm clock.
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
That’s a tough one. I wouldn’t have met all the people I care about if I wasn’t who I am now.
One thing people may not know about you?
I am an internationally published pin-up model, published poet and sing some mean karaoke. Hold me closaaah’ tiny dancaaah!
